Village Plants

Hi! My name is Kaela. I am the owner and operator of Village Plants. I have always been a crazy plant mom, which is why I decided to turn my hobby into a career. I recently started my little plant business in December of 2020 because I had lost my job due to covid-19. Growing and selling plants wasn’t new to me. My family are third generation nursery owners in Northwestern Ontario. So let’s just say I was born with a green thumb. I first started selling house plants on Facebook marketplace to build a customer profile and am currently transitioning to selling on Instagram. I hope to have my website ready within the next month so I can start selling online and through social media. I sell house plants of all different sizes and varieties. I currently sell many popular houseplants such as pothos, monstera, snake plants and philodendron, as well as, try to get in rare varieties as much as possible. If accepted, I hope to bring in a large variety of popular and rare houseplants to your Spring Market. Being accepted would help my new little business be recognized and allow for my current customers to finally be able to shop in-person. Thank you for taking the time to review my application.
